How do i find & get rid of this spyware?!?!?
it's made my computer excrutiatingly slow for a few days now. When I go online a bunch of websites pop up and it's getting worse! I've used Spybot twice to no avail, and also HijackThis but don't know what to look for... GYAAAHH!!! Help me people!
kokomojo: Spybot Search & Destroy is one of the programs I use.
The other is Lavasoft's Ad-Aware.
Both are free. I suggest running them both. Usually what one misses, the other finds.
Quarantine or delete any spyware found.
You should be good to go after that.

Micheal B: I had luck with anti Spyware Blaster. Its a free download.
PFCAnde: Try STOPzilla
It's not free, but they give you a 20 rebate when you get it. I bought another computer (a desktop) from another person who wasn't very good with computer's, when i ran STOPzilla on it, over 12,000 spyware and adware was found on it. If you want really good results, going with the free programs doesn't always cut it.
kakakos: Use your spy,adware, and security programs provided by your internet provider. Or purchase Macafee one of the best on the market . Do a search of cookies and start cleaning them out. Each spy or malware programs leaves cookies behind. That will ping the maleware programs when you start using the internet.
dfinc: you should install anti spyware program on your computer to get ride of spywares. Super anti spyware, Spyware doctor or threat fire are some good anti spyware softwares that find and remove spywares from your pc, spyware removal software can be downloaded free here
